World's worst commute

I left a little late, so I hit the prime of rush hour and there were TWO WRECKS on my way into town, shoving us all through one lane.

The first wreck was a 1995 Buick LeSabre that rear-ended a Mazda 3. LeSabre was very much totaled, the Mazda actually didn't seem all that banged up.

Second wreck was a Nissan vs an unknown car, probably an SUV. The Nissan rear-ended the SUV and the front end of the Nissan was pretty much unrecognizable. Looks like it dived down under the car.

No ambulances or anything, and I saw the occupants of all cars involved walking around, so there likely were no fatalities, so that was nice.

I made it to class (just) on time, though :D

Yesterday thanks to construction I got caught in a 5 lanes down to one merge. Some dick in TL wouldn't let me in.

Presumably because I am at fault for all of the construction.

also, that sucks. Reminds me of last week when construction at two railroad crossings essentially made me have to drive like 10 miles around and hit way more traffic, making me an hour late to work.

Yesterday I almost hit a dog and a deer. Its the second time with the same dog. it likes to just hang out in the street. The deer stepped out from behind a tree. Between me swerving to the wrong side of the road and it freaking the fuck out and turning around, it lived to see another day
